Patricia Anderson Pennington

SAVANNAH – Patricia Anderson Pennington, 68, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of the late Earl R. and Loree Butler Anderson. Patricia grew up on Isle of Hope and was a graduate of Jenkins High School. She was a longtime member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church where she was a Girl Scout and Brownie Leader.
Surviving are her husband, Jerrell T. Pennington; her son, Jerrell T. Pennington, Jr.; her daughter, Dana Pennington Elkins; four grandchildren, Stephanie L. Elkins, Steven E. Elkins, Jr., Matthew E. Elkins, and Thomas P. Elkins; two brothers, Artie Vitaglioa Wanda and Andy Anderson Teresa; a sister, Brenda O'Keefe; an aunt, Annie Butler; three brothers-in-law, George Pennington Brenda, LeRoy Pennington, and Bennie Pennington Kitty; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends today, Sunday, June 3, 2012, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 4, 2012, in the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Brotz, Steven Elkins, Sr., Steven Elkins, Jr., Greg Friday, Andy Anderson, and Artie Vitaglioa. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stephanie Elkins, Matthew Elkins, and Thomas Elkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to Hospice House, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416 or to St. Vincent's Academy, 207 E. Liberty St., Savannah, GA 31401.
